Hot off the heels of my last post, LifeHacker put up a poll to readers asking if they want folders in Gmail. At this time the response is decidedly “Yes.”
Now I wonder why people got on Gmail, since all the other webmail serviced many migrated from have the folders. Is it the increased storage space? (this touches on another conversation I had last night that I don’t have the time to get into right now) Is it faith in the church of Google? What might this tell us about other professions who are deeply involved in managing information for the use of others?
This stuff is so awesome I can’t stand it! :)
